Photogpraphy at Rivington Place
Rivington Place presents a number of photography exhibitions and events in the coming months, including Ever Young: James Barnor, the first comprehensive exhibition of Barnor’s street and studio photographs and The Paris Albums 1900: W.E.B. Du Bois, a selection of 200 portraits that Du Bois compiled for the volume Types of American Negroes, Georgia, U.S.A., exhibited in the UK for the first time.
A number of related events include an artist talk and tour with James Barnor and the second of a two-part symposium entitled The Missing Chapter, which will explore cultural identity and the photographic archive. Full event listings on the Rivington Place website.
